Who is Stacy?

Design found me before I had a name for it. I was teaching graphic design at St Pauls while finishing my own degree, three years of standing in front of a room and figuring out how to explain things clearly. That instinct has never left.

Eight years later I have shipped products used by many, built design teams from scratch, and spent over two years managing and mentoring designers across various industries. I work in the kind of products most people never see but everyone is affected by. Healthcare data. AI systems. The infrastructure behind decisions that matter.

Outside of work I am at the gym most afternoons, reading my Bible, sketching on my iPad. I am currently designing and printing a set of Bible cards by hand — part creative project, part personal discipline, part an honest attempt to know the scripture better. Alongside that I am building EventOps, a product for the events industry that I think is long overdue. I am drawn to things that require patience and precision. That probably explains both the career and the side projects.

I am specific about most things. This portfolio is one of them.
